We’ve tried to keep our all inclusive campervan hire as straight forward as possible so you can focus on enjoying your time behind the wheel. Our FAQs below should help put your mind at ease but if you have any other questions then please contact us and we’d be very happy to answer them.

What’s included?

Everything we can think of that you will need for a fantastic trip! Please check the all-inclusive section of the website and we even send you off with supplies for breakfast!

What’s not included?

Campsite Fees. Food & drink. Additional petrol, camping gas and BBQ charcoal.

Who can drive your campervans?

Our insurance covers any driver from 23-75 years of age, providing they don’t have more than 6 points on their licence.

Can we leave our car with you?

Yes, we have plenty of space, and will store your car undercover for the duration of your hire.

Can I use public transport to get to you?

Yes, If you are coming to us by train or coach we can arrange to pick you up from the station in Bath

How many people can you fit in a VW Campervan?

There are five seat belts in each van. Our VW Campervans will sleep two adults and one or two children comfortably (depending on age / size). There is a weight limit of 14 stone for the pop top roof. An awning can be attached on request for additional space.

Can we extend our holiday in the VW Campervan whilst we are away?

Yes, as long as the VW Campervan is not already booked. Just give us a call while you are away and we will arrange the additional insurance and booking costs.

Can we park up anywhere overnight?

No. You must use a designated camping area at night.

Does the VW Campervan have an electric hook up?

Yes, so if you stay on campsites with this facility, you can plug in your gadgets etc into the UK 3 point plug socket in the Campervan. Tallulah, Binky and Lil also have the added benefit of a solar roof panel, which constantly recharges the leisure battery.

Can we tow a trailer?

No towing allowed sorry.

What is the Campervans top speed?

Top speed is about 60mph cruising speed is between 50mph and 55mph. Remember you are on holiday, there is no rush!

What time can we pick the VW Campervan up?

Any time you like from 2pm on your chosen day. It will take about 30 mins to go through all the details and the controls on the campervan on collection so a set time will be agreed when the booking is made.

What time can we drop the VW Campervan off?

The insurance runs from the time you pick it up to the agreed return time, which is usually around 10am. You are welcome to drop the van back earlier but if you are running late please contact us immediately so we can change the insurance. There is a charge of £50 per hour for a late return after the agreed return time unless otherwise agreed.

How old do I need to be to hire a VW Campervan?

Unlike most of our competitors our insurance covers drivers aged 23-75 , as long as you have 2 years driving experience with no more than 6 points and no disqualifications or driving convictions. if you are outside these ages please let us speak to the insurance company to see what is possible.

Will it breakdown?

It might do! ( like anything mechanical ) But it shouldn’t as our VW Campervans have been fitted with new engines and are prepared to the highest standard, regularly serviced and maintained by a specialist VW Campervan mechanic. Just in case you do experience a problem, we have Breakdown Assistance to give you complete cover and peace of mind.

Will the engine overheat?

As with any air cooled engine, as long as the VW Campervan is moving at a reasonable speed then the air will keep the engine cool, if you get stuck in traffic and are at a standstill, just turn the engine off to prevent it from overheating.
